Our philosophy? At MAYDUNA you’ll find piercers who care about the accurate and considerate placement of your piercing, because the whole piercing process brings a high responsibility with it. For our team, this also includes a careful selection of your new piece of jewellery. To make sure that your piercing really comes into its own, our range at MAYDUNA also includes a selected assortment of jewellery, so that no wishes remain unfulfilled here either.

Material and quality at the top of the list

Body jewellery not only has to look good, it has to be one thing above all: high quality. Quality jewellery can accompany us for years, and gives us the opportunity to express ourselves. Just like piercings and tattoos in themselves, body jewellery is also a kind of art and must fit the respective wearer.

At MAYDUNA we have spent many years researching the safest materials for body piercings in terms of biocompatibility, comfort and style. From the beginning, it was out of the question for us that we would only use materials that would not have a negative impact on the metabolism of living tissues when in contact with them. For this reason, we only use hypoallergenic materials that meet VPP standards for Germany, including implant-grade titanium and solid 14-carat nickel-free gold. Why our jewellery is nickel-free? Nickel is present in almost all alloys and is therefore often contained in fashion jewellery. However, the metal is also the most common contact allergen, as the body mistakenly classifies nickel as harmful. The body then triggers some unpleasant defensive reactions which should be avoided.

90% of the jewellery we use and sell is therefore made exclusively of gold. Due to the anti-allergenic properties, this material in particular is ideal for first-time jewellery. In addition, all our jewellery comes with a quality guarantee. We stand fully behind the workmanship and quality, but in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, repair or replacement is of course guaranteed.

How our jewellery is made

All of MAYDUNA's jewellery is hand polished as well as highly polished for a mirror-like finish. We offer our selected pieces with, but also without internal thread. So we can offer something for everyone as well as the security of the fastenings is optimally guaranteed. Many of our jewellery pieces also feature radiant opals or sparkling crystals. The glittering stones are set by hand. No glue is used. Why is that? Only this way each stone optimally nestles in its refined setting, so that each piece of jewellery is perfect.

Mindful of quality materials, with an eye for detail and a love of craftsmanship, we curate unique jewellery pieces from a variety of renowned manufacturers.

Among others, we work together with "Industrial Strength". The nickel-free jewellery made of titanium refines every belly button or ear piercing with timeless classics in premium quality.

Go for Gold: Our jewellery from "Auris", "Norvoch" and "Anatometal" are made of real gold and offer a wide range of different noble designs for various placements. Whether yellow gold, rose gold or white gold, we have the right piece for you in stock.
